A handmade, half candle clip lampshade for wall lights, handmade by me in my studio in York, UK.

A dramatic print by John Henry Dearle who joined Morris & Co in 1878, later becoming its chief designer. Large scale symmetrical flower heads framed by gently scrolling acanthus leaves in metallic gold on a deep claret red. All the shades are varied to show the diversity of the print and the pattern placement may vary. Light does not diffuse through this dense paper but back onto the wall. 

Perfectly finished with a claret trim and lined in white to reflect light from the inside of the shade back onto the wall. French in design the half shade is perfect for your wall lights.

Price is per single lampshade.

It is made by hand with care using a more traditional six step process as I do not use the rolled edge method found in most lampshade making kits, giving a more refined finish. The products comply with BS EN 60598-1-2008, the British Standard for Luminaries.
